State Rep. Kurt Masser (R-Columbia/Montour/Northumberland) is inviting older residents and their caregivers to join him Thursday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. at Ralpho Township Memorial Park for his ninth annual senior expo.
“We want older residents to know about the programs, services and opportunities available to them,” Masser said. “This event is designed to help senior citizens meet their needs.”
Local residents age 60 or older and their caregivers are invited to join Masser at the event, which will feature lunch and door prizes. Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Approximately 50 vendors representing local, state and federal agencies as well as businesses will be there to provide information about programs and services available to older residents. The event also will feature several guest speakers.
“This is an opportunity for older residents to get a lot of information and talk with a variety of experts all in one convenient location,” Masser said.
While there is no fee to attend the event, those who plan to come are asked to RSVP by calling Masser’s Elysburg district office by dialing 570-648-8017.
Ralpho Township Memorial Park is located at the intersection of Memorial Park Avenue and Veterans Way in Elysburg.
