Crews battle fire in Sunbury, resident out safely

SUNBURY— Fire and rescue crews from three separate counties responded to a fire Sunday morning in Sunbury. Crews from Northumberland, Snyder and Montour counties battle a blaze at 315 Fairmount Avenue for over 2 hours, according to Northumberland County Communications.

They tell us the fire started just after 3am Sunday morning. The home was occupied by one male who they say got out safely. They are not reporting any other injuries. We hope to have more information on the early morning fire in a later newscast.
