Bloomsburg man caught trying to sell stolen property


MILTON—After breaking into a home in Montour County, a Bloomsburg man eventually got caught trying to sell the stolen items at a pawn shop in Bloomsburg. Milton State Police say they arrested 31-year-old Aaron Wilver of Bloomsburg at a shop in the town June 2.


Troopers say Wilver broke into a home in Valley Township, Montour County sometime between May 28 and May 31. They say Wilver made two prior sales of the stolen items before being caught by Bloomsburg police. After his arrest Milton state police searched Wilver’s vehicle where more items from the burglary were recovered.


Wilver was arraigned and jailed in the Montour County Prison after failing to post $10,000 straight bail. He is being charged with felony burglary, theft, and receiving stolen property.
