He was an All Star in basketball at Shikellamy, and League Honorable Mention at offensive and defensive tackle for football. After college, Dave worked as a football coach for the Shikellamy Braves from 1979 to 1998. He currently serves as the Assistant Varsity and Head Girls Basketball coach at Shikellamy. Dave began his broadcast career with Kevin Herr in the basketball broadcast booth on WKOK in winter of 1997. Dave was part of the WKOK Sports broadcast team that was honored several years including 2009 by the Associated Press and the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters in 2006 as the best Play-by-Play Broadcast in the State. Now he brings his football coaching experience to the WVLY Sports broadcast booth. In 2007 he joined Ryan Unger as the color commentator for Milton Black Panther Football on TalkRadio 1380 WMLP and moved with Ryan to Lewisburg football in 2009.
