Born and raised a
Seal, I have lived and breathed Selinsgrove athletics for 29
years. I took the same path as many Selinsgrove football
players have by playing youth football, junior high football,
and then continuing to the varsity level. Knowing the system
makes covering the Seals football team a true blessing. I also
ran track and played basketball for the Seals. Basketball is
my other sports love. I am fortunate to continue to be a part
of the Seals' basketball program today with my position as
head coach of the boys 7th grade team.
Along with
covering the 2009 State Championship winning Selinsgrove Seals
football team, my broadcasting experience previously included
some time covering high school basketball. Although I am young
in my broadcasting career, my friends and family have been
listening to my sports coverage in my living room for a few
decades.
I believe covering
the games with Pat is a perfect fit. My friendship with Pat
started a few years back when we were both employed at the
same establishment. I don’t know how we managed to keep our
jobs as long as we did. Production couldn’t have been high
with all of the sports discussions that went on. Covering the
Seals with Pat is a blast.
Outside of
Selinsgrove athletics, I love to watch the Nittany Lions take
the football field and the E.A.G.L.E.S. EAGLES!!! (by the way,
you can listen to the Eagles coverage on Eagle 107). As a
basketball fan, I love watching the Boston Celtics and am a
Kentucky Wildcats fan on the collegiate level. When I am not
indulged in sports, I love spending time with my beautiful
wife Lauryn and my son/main man Jace.
Working with
eagle107 and Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation is a true
professional experience. Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation has
top of the line ownership, management, and staff; who I would
like to thank for allowing me to have the opportunity to be a
part of it. I would like to thank my family for their support
and most importantly, I'd like to give praise to God.
GO SEALS!
